| English abstract | To understand the conceptions about the feminine Nahua body, the article begins by explaining three ideological evidences that construct the corporal image of human beings. These evidences are: 1. The anatomical and physiological differences of the human bodies; 2. Life/ death, and 3. Blood. Specifically, the connotations with respect to women in the state of passage —menstruation, pregnancy, birth and puerperium—, are explained because of the feminine blood involved in the moments of transition |
