| Spanish abstract | En el contexto actual, la formación ciudadana es un proceso que forma parte de la socialización de los individuos cuyo propósito es la educación en valores sociales, como la responsabilidad y la participación, que cooperen en el desarrollo de comportamientos solidarios, basados en una identificación plena con la comunidad y el respeto a la convivencia. En este propósito están llamadas a colaborar todas las instituciones y organizaciones con funciones educativas de la comunidad, lo que marca la necesidad de repensar en nuevas variantes que incluyen la contextualización sociocultural de la formación ciudadana de los estudiantes de las carreraspedagógicaspara un desarrollo humano local sostenible, aprovechando las potencialidades que ofrece la educación cívica,como parte de la formación ciudadana, que a partir de una intencionalidad pedagógica se orienta al desarrollo consciente alcanzado en la formación de valores, la preparación patriótica y política -ideológica, así como la conciencia económica y jurídica que se requiere en las actuales condiciones por las que transita el mundo, y de forma específica elpaís, lo que debe expresarse en los modos de actuación del ciudadano cubano, teniendo en cuenta los deberes y derechos poseídos en cada momento histórico –concreto. Se apoyó en el análisis documental, y se aplicaron entrevistas y encuestas a los agentes socializadores. | English abstract | n the current context, the citizen formation is a process that forms part of the socialization of the individuals whose purpose is the education in social values, as the responsibility and the participation, that cooperate in the development of solidary conducts, based on a full identification with the community and the respect to the living together. In this purpose, it is called to collaborate all institutes and organizations with educational functions of the community. which marks the need to think over again in new variants that include the sociocultural contextualizationof the citizen formation in the students of the pedagogic major for a human local suitable development, by making good use of the potentialities it offers the civic education, as part of the citizen formation, as well as the pedagogic premeditation it finds one's bearings to the conscious development in debt to the formation of values, the patriotic and political-ideological preparation, as well as the economic and juridical conscience that is required in the current conditions for those who travels the world, and in a specific way our country, which must be expressed in the manners of the Cuban citizen, by keeping in mind them must and straight possessed in each historical moment –make concrete. It based on the documentary analysis, and application of interview and serves to socializers agents.
