| English abstract | This article intends to analyze the memory of the “normalistas” (students to teach in elementary school) formed in Instituto Sarah Kubitschek (IESK) from the influences of its place of formation and housing. It is intended to elucidate as if it gave the motivation of its professional choice. It will be inquired generation of the memory of the normalistas of the IESK aiming at to clarify the processes that had contributed for the social construction of these teachers as, for example, the historical factors of the feminization of the teaching and the consequent social memory that the woman takes to opt to the teaching |

Pretende-se elucidar como se deu a motivação de sua escolha profissional. Indagar-se-á a geração da memória das normalistas do IESK visando esclarecer os processos que contribuíram para a construção social dessas professoras como, por exemplo, os fatores históricos da feminização do magistério e a conseqüente memória social que leva a mulher a optar pelo magistério |
