| Spanish abstract | Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar al personaje de Creúsa como el héroe trágico de la tragedia Ion de Eurípides. Partiendo de la figura del héroe trágico en la literatura griega, tomamos la Poética de Aristóteles como base teórica para realizar un seguimiento de la definición y características de la noción de héroe trágico. En segundo lugar, revisamos el texto euripideo en su lengua original (griego antiguo), para caracterizar y delimitar al personaje de Creúsa. Por último, realizamos una confrontación entre la noción de héroe trágico y las acciones y personalidad de Creúsa. Mediante este análisis concluimos que este personaje se muestra como un héroe trágico prototípico |
| English abstract | The goal of his article is to identify the character of Creusa as the tragic hero in the tragedy Ion of Euripides. From the figure of the tragic hero in the Greek literature, we take the Poetic of Aristotle as theoretical basis to carry out a monitoring of the definition and features of the notion of the tragic hero. Secondly, we revise the text of Euripides in its original language (antique Greek), to characterize and to delimit the character of Creusa. Finally, we made a confrontation between the notion of the tragic hero and the actions and personality of Creusa. By means of this analysis we arrived at the conclusion that this character behaves like a prototypical tragic hero |
