| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis ontológico del proceso de constitución y autodeterminación del sordo, como persona, en el conjunto de relaciones tanto familiares como sociales, y explicar cómo se da la configuración y afianzamiento de su competencia comunicativa y lingüística. El análisis ontológico se realiza a partir de la propuesta de una ontología simbólica de Mauricio Beuchot, en la cual se concibe la autodeterminación de la persona a partir del conjunto de relaciones sociales, reconociendo con anterioridad su substancialidad. Esta situación es fundamental en el proceso de autodeterminación del sordo, ya que su substancialidad se diluye en la medida en que su autodeterminación es anulada en el conjunto de relaciones sociales en las que se encuentra inmerso; su dificultad comunicativa hace que quienes estén en su entorno inmediato tomen decisiones que lo afectan no solo en el presente sino en el futuro, condicionsu desempeño comunicativo y lingüístico. | English abstract | The objective of this paper is to conduct an ontology analysis of the constitution process and self-determination of the deaf as an individual and his/her relationships not only within his/her family, but also at a social level and how these are configured in his/her communication and linguistic strength and competence. The ontological analysis is done based on the symbolic ontology proposal from Mauricio Beuchot that considers the individuals self-determination to start from his/her social relationships and acknowledges at first the individuals substantiality. This situation is fundamental in the deaf self-determination process due to the fact that his/her substantiality is dissolved to the extent that his/her self-determination is cancelled within the group of social relationships which he/she is currently immersed in; His/ her difficult communication process produces others, who are in their immediate surroundings, to make decisions that affect him/her not only in the present time, but also in the future by conditioning his/her communication and linguistic performance |
