English abstract In order to become more and more competitive, SME’s and above all SME of emergent countries, need to capture international and transnational markets. This strategic policy could be developed by an effort of managers’ will but also with the implementation of a Business Intelligence Process. The scope of this article is to debate on Business Intelligence and the help this activity could bring to SME, specially to the brazilian SME, desirous of becoming suppliers of Trans National Companies
