| Spanish abstract | El ensayo lleva como impronta reflexionar sobre el pensamiento de Rousseau en el Emilio o de la educación, y sus aportes a la Educación Matemática. Pretendemos acercar al lector a su propuesta fundamentada en una educación naturalista, que en la primera edad está supeditada a la sensibilidad del niño; y en ese sentido, en el estudio de la matemática gira en torno a la construcción de lanoción del espacio, la direccionalidad, y la caracterización de figuras, lo que le permitirá desarrollar capacidades cognitivas del desarrollo del pensamiento lógico. Esta disciplina favorece la edad de la razón que expone Rousseau, que busca preparar al joven desde la curiosidad, la pregunta y la utilidad. | English abstract | The essay has the imprint of reflecting on Rousseau's thinking in Emilio or education, and his contributions to mathematical education. We intend to bring the reader closer to his proposal based on a naturalistic education, which in the first age is subject to the sensitivity of the child; And in this sense, in the study of mathematics revolves around the construction of the notion of space, directionality, and characterization of figures, which will enable him to develop cognitive capacities of the development of logical thinking.
