Spanish abstract Se presenta una reflexión sobre los problemas que surgen del encuentro entre el pensamiento occidental, eminentemente crítico y modernizado, y el pensamiento nativo. A través de la revi- sión de algunos enfoques recientes de la investigación educativa, se contrastan las experiencias en la realización de carreras de tutoría docente en la ciencia y la ingeniería de las universidades públicas mexicanas. El problema se deriva de la consideración fundamental de la estética, que es incompatible con la finalidad política de fortalecer el pensamiento crítico y complejo de los planes de estudios. Finalmente, con base en el razonamiento vernáculo, ofrecemos una serie de recomendaciones específicas, basadas en la reinserción de la lengua al pensamiento
English abstract A reflection on the arising problems between the modern, mainly critical western thought and the native thought is presented. Through the revision of some recent approaches in teaching research, contrast the experience in the conducting of teaching assessment careers and the engineering of the Mexican public universities. The problem strives from the fundamental consideration of aesthetics, which is compatible with the political aim of the strengthening of the critical and complex thinking of the curricula. Finally, based on the vernacular reasoning, a series of specific recommendations are offered, which are based on the reintegration from language to thought
