| Spanish abstract | Este artículo interpreta las características del análisis que la Escuela Anglosajona de Historia Económica-Social -como línea historiográfica y con Moses I. Finley como autor más representativo- realiza acerca del problema histórico sobre la manera en que Atenas involucra a los ciudadanos en las guerras imperialistas de la Pentecontecia. Sobre esto se realiza una aproximación historiográfica a partir de criterios como: las circunstancias en las que los autores desarrollan sus investigaciones, selección de fuentes, sujetos de la historia y rol del estado en el desarrollo de la democracia y el imperio |
| English abstract | This article interprets the characteristics of the analysis that the Anglo-Saxon School of Economic and Social History -as a historiographic line and with Moses I. Finley as the most representative author- carries out about the historical problem about the way in which Athens involves citizens in imperialist wars of Pentecontaetia. A historiographical approach is made on this based on criteria such as: the circumstances in which the authors develop their research, selection of sources, subjects of history and the role of the state in the development of democracy and empire |
