English abstract | Argentinian Lucía Puenzo’s film and novel Wakolda (2011 and 2013) are an example of the unusual circumstance where the author of the text is also the film director. In order to analyze both works, this essay relies on film adaptation theories for the prejudices caused by those relationships. It also studies the different feelings produced by the two formats due to their specific thriller features |
