El análisis del primero de estos manuales moralizantes se concentra en sus historias aleccionadoras, en las cuales la enseñanza axiológica se hace de modo indirecto, a través de cuentos ejemplarizantes y fábulas. | English abstract | The following documentary research studies two textbooks of the influential Venezuelan educator and intellectual Amenodoro Urdaneta (1829-1905):Childhood's book, from a friend of the kids (1865); y Republican Catechism (1877). The analysis of the first of these moralizing manuals focuses on their exemplary stories, in wich axiological teaching is done indirectly, through exemplary tales and fables.
