| Resumen en inglés | The present work concerns experience reports about the Pedagogy course of the UFU. Along the history of this course in Brazil, there have been four models of curricular structure. In the fi rst two years, the course had a Bachelor and a Licentiate degrees; in the third year, a Licentiate degree that graduated the teacher and the Education specia- list; in the fourth and current, it has been kept as a Licentiate degree and there is the teaching profession as the formation supports to work in both the school and non-school spaces. In the late 1970’s, this course initia- ted at UFU the historical fact of a reformulation process, what sought to overcome the practice of graduating the Education specialist. In 1986, the curricular structure organized studies to approach the “school in full” and at the same time, to guarantee the Pedagogue’s action “in the whole of school”. In 1992 and 1996, there were two alterations in the original project, searching for leading to build a curricular structure that could guarantee fi rstly the teacher graduation to the initial school levels within the primary education. Secondly, the Pedagogue formation to work with AE, IE SE, OE and the pre-school teacher of Education and the pedago- gic subjects in the second degree. In 2005, there was a new reformula- tion, in order to comply with the resolutions of the Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais of the Pedagogy course. Currently, the course aims to prepare the egression to work with the children’s Education teaching, from the initial years of the primary education and the pedagogic subjects to the formation of teachers, in the school administration, in the evaluation and implementation of the Educational policies, among others |
| Resumen en portugués | Trata-se de um relato de experiências sobre a Pedagogia na UFU. Na história deste curso no Brasil ocorreram quatro modelos de estrutura curricular. Nos dois primeiros o curso era um bacharelado e uma licenciatura; no terceiro foi licenciatura que formava o professor e o especialista em educação; no quarto e atual, mantém-se como licencia- tura e tem a docência como base da formação para atuar em espaços escolares e não-escolares. No fi nal da década de 1970, iniciou-se na UFU, a história de um processo de reformulação, buscando superar a prática de formação do especialista em educação. Em 1986 o currículo estruturou estudos para abordar o todo da escola e, ao mesmo tempo, garantir a ação do pedagogo no todo desta escola . Em 1992 e 1996 ocorreram dois ajustes no projeto original, visando caminhar na constru- ção de uma estrutura curricular que garantisse primeiro a formação do professor para as séries iniciais do 1º Grau. Constituíram, em segunda opção, a formação do pedagogo para atuar em AE, IE SE, OE e do professor da Educação Pré-escolar e das matérias pedagógicas do 2º Grau. Em 2005 ocorreu nova reformulação, para atender as determina- ções das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para o curso de Pedagogia. Hoje, ele tem a fi nalidade de preparar o egresso para atuar na docência da Educação Infantil, dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental e das disciplinas pedagógicas para a formação de professores, na gestão es- colar, na avaliação e implementação de políticas educacionais, dentre outras |
