| Resumen en español | El maltrato infantil como problemática multidimensional y multidisciplinaria, comprende diferentes ámbitos: legal, social, educativo, salud entre otros, los cuales deberían contribuir de manera conjunta y vinculada al desarrollo de acciones significativas para su prevención. Esta investigación tuvo como propósito diseñar estrategias de prevención del maltrato infantil a través de una alianza eficaz entre la escuela y la familia. El trabajo campo, de tipo descriptivo, obtuvo información de la problemática estudiada en el Centro de Educación Inicial (CEI) “Juan Griego”, ubicado en el municipio Marcano del Estado Nueva Esparta, diagnosticando sus causas mediante el registro y análisis de datos disponibles. Así 68 padres y madres y 20 docentes tomaron parte de la investigación. Como resultado del estudio se evidenció la carente capacitación del docente respecto al maltrato infantil, hecho realmente alarmante, dado que si no se posee conocimiento sobre esta problemática social, no se puede diagnosticar, tratar y mucho menos prevenir |
| Resumen en inglés | Child abuse as multidimensional and multidisciplinary issue includes different areas: legal, social, educational, and health, among other. Those areas should contribute together and should be linked to the development of significant preventive actions. The present research aimed to design strategies for the prevention of child abuse through an effective alliance between the school and the family. It was a descriptive, field research for which the information was obtained from the problems studied in the Center for Initial Education “Juan Griego” located in the Marcano Municipality from Nueva Esparta state, by diagnosing the causes through the recording and analysis of available data. Sixty eight parents and twenty teachers participated in the study. It was observed that teachers lack training on child abuse which is relevant because if they do not have the knowledge about that social problem it cannot be diagnosed, treated and avoided |
