| Resumen en español | Balance de las tendencias y los debates actuales e internacionales, desde una óptica trasatlántica y latina, sobre el método, la historiografía, la teoría y la relación con la sociedad de los historiadores del siglo XXI. A partir del preámbulo y las posiciones del Manifiesto de Historia a Debate (2001), y considerando los últimos debates del grupo en las redes sociales, para analizar la polarización historiográfica entre los partidarios de nuevos paradigmas, quienes no hacemos tabla rasa de las vanguardias del siglo XX; y los partidarios de un retorno al positivismo, aguijoneados por el posmodernismo radical. Este repliegue historiográfico se estudia a través de frases, prácticas y lugares comunes, dichos y hechos dentro y fuera de aulas y despachos. Datos de tipo digital y oral que manifiestan, en cuanto al regreso de Ranke, una gran homogeneidad y transversalidad entre las diferentes especialidades, universidades y países |
| Resumen en inglés | In this paper we try to sum up new and international trends and debates, using a transatlantic and Latin point of view, about methods, historiography, theories and relationship between historians and society in the 21st century. Using the preamble of the History under Debate Manifesto (2001) and using the most recent debates in HaD in social networks as well, as starting point, we analyse the polarization of the historians between the ones who think that we need new paradigms without forget the avant-garde of the 20th century, and the ones who want the return of the positivism and the postmodernism. This is a historiographic withdrawal that we study through the sentences, methods and clichés said and done inside and out of the classes and offices. Digital and oral data seem to demonstrate, inasmuch as Ranke’s return, an important homogeneity between the different fields, Universities and countries |
