| Spanish abstract | En una democracia representativa, el ciudadano toma un rol preponderante para el logro de una representación política adecuada. Centrándonos en él, encontramos aspectos que nos ayudan a entender que su rol dentro de una comunidad política es más importante de lo que se piensa. Ante esto, se hace una propuesta de cómo el ciudadano debe participar en el fortalecimiento de la democracia representativa. Se revisa la representación política, la cual tiene dos aspectos muy marcados: representa al ciudadano y al Estado. Teniendo en cuenta esto y nuestro recurrente problema de que el ciudadano no se siente realmente representado, recomendamos emprender acciones que mejoren la comunicación política entre representado y representante. No podíamos dejar fuera a los partidos políticos, ya que son un mecanismo de representación política. Estudiamos sus objetivos en una democracia representativa, y analizamos los problemas de representación en los que están inmersos actualmente y su posible origen para dar una alternativa que los ayude a retomar su papel en la democracia representativa |
| English abstract | In a representative democracy, the citizen takes a preponderant role for the achievement of adequate political representation. Focusing on him, we find aspects that help us understand that his role in a political community is more important than you think. Given this, a proposal is made as to how the citizen should participate in the strengthening of representative democracy. The Political Representation is reviewed, which has two very marked aspects: it represents the citizen and the State. Taking into account this and our recurrent problem that the citizen does not feel really represented, we recommend to take on actions that improve the political communication between the represented and the representative. We could not leave out the political parties, since they are a mechanism of political representation. We studied their objectives within a representative democracy, and analyzed their problem of representation in which they are currently immersed and their possible origin to give an alternative that helps them to resume their role in representative democracy |
