| Spanish abstract | El sentido fue una apuesta central de la filosofía moderna, especialmente desde la crítica al formalismo moral kantiano, y a la subsución del sujeto individual en la Idea Absoluta hegeliana, o en la materialidad colectiva del marxismo. Asumido en la filosofía existencial, repudiado por el estructuralismo y el posestructuralismo, hoy la posmodernidad muestra como síntoma flagrante su incapacidad para dar sentido, para otorgarlo en relación con valores: la escuela es uno de los espacios donde se juega ese desafío |
| English abstract | The sense was a central bet of modern philosophy, especially from criticism to Kantian moral formalism, and the subsidence of the individual subject in the Hegelianabsolute Idea, or in the collective materialism of Marxism. Assumed in existential philosophy, repudiated by structuralism and post-structuralism, today postmodernity shows as a flagrant symptom its inability to give meaning, to bestow it in relation to values: school is one of the spaces where that challenge is taken place.Key words: Consciousness, event, meaning, postmodernity, values |
