| Spanish abstract | Mérida es el primer estado productor de papa en Venezuela, de ahí la importancia de analizar dicha producción desde distintas perspectivas. Se presenta una investigación exploratoria acerca de los principales virus, plagas y enfermedades que atacan el proceso productivo del rubro papa, los controles que se ejercen para atacarlos, así como las formas de negociación de los pesticidas más utilizados en el proceso productivo por los productores de papa del Municipio Rangel del estado Mérida. Sin pretender ser especialistas en la materia, se observa la presencia de una gran cantidad de virus plagas, enfermedades y de factores externos que afectan las cosechas de papa, en virtud de ello, los productores tienen una gran dependencia de los pesticidas, los cuales los adquieren bajo diversas modalidades de crédito, a las casas comerciales presentes en la zona, en condiciones desfavorables de negociación por parte del productor, esta situación genera un deterioro considerable de su rentabilidad, aunado a los severos daños en la salud y en el ambiente |
| English abstract | Mérida is the first producing state of potato in Venezuela, of there the importance of analyzing this production from different perspective. One appears an exploratory investigation about main the virus, plagues and diseases that attack the productive process of the heading potato, the controls which they are exerted to attack them, as well as the forms of negotiation of the used pesticides more in the productive process by the producers of potato of the Rangel Municipality of the Mérida state. Without trying to be specialistic in the matter, the presence of a great amount of virus is observed plagues, diseases and of external factors that affect the potato harvests, by virtue of it, the producers have a great dependency of the pesticides, which acquire them under diverse modalities of credit, to the present commercial houses in the zone, in unfavorable conditions of negotiation on the part of the producer, this situation generates a considerable deterioration of its yield, combined to the severe damages in the health and the atmosphere |
