| Spanish abstract | Se investiga el decaimiento del quark top a dos cuerpos haciendo uso delmodelo espectador. Se analiza particularmente el decaimiento (t→bW+)calculando teóricamente el ancho de decaimiento y la fracci ́on de decaimientode la part ́ıcula, cuyo resultado es comparado con el dato experimentaldado por la tabla Particle Data Group. La predicci ́on del modelo sobreel decaimiento del quark top puede ser considerado bueno como unaprimera aproximaci ́on. Este tipo de an ́alisis adquiere especial importanciaya que permite, por un lado, familiarizar a los estudiantes con losdecaimientos de part ́ıculas y sus predicciones, y por otro, abre un espaciopara introducir t ́opicos de f ́ısica de part ́ıculas en los cursos introductorios anivel universitario |
| English abstract | Is investigated the top quark decay (t) two bodies using the spectatormodel. Is analyzed the decay (t→bW+) calculated theoretically the widthof decay and decay fraction of the particle whose result is compared with theexperimental data of the table Particle Data group. The model prediction onthe decay process can be considered good as a first approach to this class ofdecay. This type of analysis is particularly important because it allows onehand, familiarize students with the decays of particles and on the other, opena space to introduce topics of particle physics in the introductory courses atuniversity level |
