| English abstract | Currently the obesity is dealt as a public health problem that can lead to a series of other pathologies. It comes all being object of study in the world, and some causes can be considered, as rich fats feeding, physical inactivity, endocrines alterations, genetic causes and secondary pathologies. In this context some products are launched in the market with the objective to fight the obesity, when are inserted health professionals to carry through the accompaniment of the treatments, amongst them the pharmacist, who possess basic paper in the pharmacotherapy carried through for obese patients, a time that the treatments can modify other physiological functions |
| Portuguese abstract | Atualmente a obesidade é tratada como um problema de saúde pública que pode levar a uma série de outras patologias. Ela vem sendo objeto de estudo no mundo todo, e várias causas podem ser consideradas, como alimentação rica em gorduras, inatividade física, alterações endócrinas, causas genéticas e patologias secundárias. Neste contexto vários produtos são lançados no mercado com o objetivo de combater a obesidade, quando são inseridos profissionais da saúde para realizar o acompanhamento dos tratamentos, dentre eles o farmacêutico, que possui papel fundamental nas farmacoterapias realizadas por pacientes obesos, uma vez que os tratamentos podem alterar outras funções fisiológicas |
