| Spanish abstract | En la sociedad actual se construyen subjetividades particulares mediante discursos y modelos a seguir que el sistema social demanda. La exigencia de ser mejor cada día y la competitividad, crean sujetos que viven y se vinculan en el miedo al fracaso y a no ser exitosos, generando vivencias de angustia y culpa por no cumplir con lo establecido. Frente a la amenaza absoluta que implica para el sujeto someterse a la mirada social, se generan mecanismos que lo hacen reaccionar paranóicamente, no diferenciando la amenaza real de la que fantasea; dándose así formas particulares de relacionarse que van desde la competencia, hasta la agresión por el miedo a ser anulado socialmente. En este trabajo se analiza a luz del psicoanálisis y de la psicología social el funcionamiento del miedo a no ser el mejor, las maneras de responder ante éste y su origen en las estructuras psíquicas: individual y colectiva |
| English abstract | In current society particular subjectivities are constructed through discourses and models that are followed according to what the social system demands. The demand of being better every day and competitiveness create individuals that live and relate amongst them through the fear of failure and unsuccessfulness, generating experiences of distress and guilt for not compiling with what is established. Facing the absolute threat that for an individual represents surrendering to the social regard, some mechanisms that make him/her react as paranoiac are generated, while not distinguishing the real threat from the one that he(she) daydreams. This gives origin to particular ways of relating that go from competition, to aggression caused by the fear of being socially annulled. This article analyses from the perspective of psychoanalysis and social psychology how the fear of not being the best works, the ways of reacting towards it and its origin in the psychological structures: individual and collective |
