| English abstract | In the philosophy of Levinas, the concept of infinite is par excellence an ethical category. The article investigates the possibility to think the infinite as an aesthetic category, choosing, for in such a way, two particularly significant texts for the understanding of the aesthetic evolution of the levinasian thought: La réalité et son ombre and Autrement qu’ être ou au-delà de l' essence. The art is analyzed under the point of view of the language, being the critical aprroach regarding the ontology the basic reason of the ethical and aesthetic speech |
