| Spanish abstract | El trabajo analiza los aportes que Roig realiza al pensamiento decolonial, a partir de la consideración de tres cuestiones: 1) La “ampliación metodológica” y la consiguiente recuperación de textos propios de la tradición americana que representan una crítica frontal a la filosofía occidental moderna, como la narración sobre el origen del hombre del Popol Vuh y la “inversión” de la filosofía de la historia hegemónica que realiza León Pinelo en el siglo XVII. 2) La asunción por parte de Roig de algunos postulados críticos procedentes de la propuesta de una revisión de los supuestos de la Filosofía latinoamericana a partir de un giro intercultural (Fornet Betancourt). Y 3) La posición crítica de Roig frente al pensamiento posmoderno, que culmina en la exigencia de producir un “rearme categorial” |
| English abstract | This paper analyzes the contributions Roig brought to the decolonizing idea considering three matters: 1) the “methodological widening” and following recovery of texts belonging to the Latin American tradition that represents a frontal critic to the modern occidental philosophy, as the telling of the origin of man by Popol Vuh and the “inversion” of the hegemonic history philosophy carried out by Leon Pinelo in the 17th century. 2) Roig’s assumption of some critical postulates proceeding from the proposal to revise the presumptions of the Latin American philosophy from the viewpoint of an intercultural turn. 3) Roig’s critical posture in the face of postmodern ideas, culminating in the exigency to produce a “re-doing” |
