| Spanish abstract | Considerando a Nuestra América (1891) de José Martí, como un ensayo literario, el artículo se propone analizarlo y descomponerlo a partir de la distinción entre texto y discurso. Desde la teoría de la recepción tiene en cuenta sus zonas de indeterminación, los sentidos oscilantes y el modo en que los contextos socio históricos de recepción jerarquizan y actualizan significaciones discursivas diferentes, se revisa finalmente una lectura contemporánea antiimperialista desde sus principales exegetas, la que prevalece pero que no clausura sin embargo otras posibilidades de leerlo |
| English abstract | The purpose of this article is to analyse an deconstruct José Martí's essay Nuestra America. We base our task in the distinction between text an discourse, fostering interpretation possibilities from the point of view of the theory of reception. We consider zones of indetermination and oscillating senses, and the way social context of production hierarchize and actualize signification in a contemporary reading of the text, one that neverless does not close other possibilities of reading |
