| Spanish abstract | A propósito del bicentenario ya celebrado, que conmemora la independencia de lo que es hoy la República de Colombia, surgen una cantidad de textos recordando los sucesos vividos 200 años atrás, que, con la suma de otros textos importantes, hacen de hoy, un momento preciso para investigar la importancia del hecho que desencadenó el fin del régimen español y los inicios de la República de Colombia, representado en el enfrentamiento armado titulado La Batalla de Boyacá. Para llegar a tal momento se tornara necesario nombrar una serie de eventos que lo anteceden y provocan, estos empiezan el 20 de julio de 1810 |
| English abstract | About the bicentennial already celebrated commemorating the independence of what is now the Colombian Republic, there are a number of texts recalling events lived 200 years ago, these texts with the addition of other important ones, make today a time to investigate the importance of the event that triggered the end of the Spanish rule and the beginning of the Republic of Colombia, that is represented in the armed conflict called the battle of Boyacá. To make a reference about that conflict, it becomes necessary to appoint a series of events that precede and lead the already named event. They start on July 20th of 1810 |
