| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo centra su estudio en el hábito de lectura en el profesional de la carrera de Ciencias de la Educación. Para su solución se planteó como objetivo: proponer acciones dirigidas a fomentar el hábito de lectura en los estudiantes. Empleó los métodos analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo, tránsito de lo abstracto a lo concreto, el análisis de documentos, la encuesta, la entrevista y la observación. Ofrece el marco teórico conceptual, los criterios metodológicos que constituyen sustentos de la propuesta de acciones con enfoque interdisciplinar, en correspondencia con el perfil del profesional. | English abstract | The present article focuses its study on the habit of reading in the professional of the career of Educational Sciences. For its solution was proposed as a goal: actions aimed at encouraging the habit of reading in students. It was used the analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive methods, the transit from the abstract to the concrete, the analysis of documents, the survey, the interview and the observation. It offers the conceptual theoretical framework, the methodological criteria that constitutes the basis of the proposal of actions with an interdisciplinary focus, in correspondence with the profile of the professional.
