| English abstract | This essay is based on the theory of André Lefevere (1985) to discuss about the possibility of fluctuations in the poetic concept of "tragedy." The purpose of reflection is to show that translations of tragedies are based on a "pre-conception" of the genre and have a careless treatment with respect to the marks left by the author of instability. In contrast, there was a systematic search of reproducing the model of tragedy advocated by Aristotle in the Poetics. Thus, it is seen in the Greek tragedies and one unchanging monotone gravely and high (spoudaios) that in the case of Electra, is not confirmed |
| Portuguese abstract | Este ensaio apoia-se na teoria de André Lefevere (1985) para discutir acerca da possibilidade de oscilações no conceito poético de “tragédia”. O motivo da reflexão é mostrar que as traduções de tragédias partem de um “pré-conceito” do gênero e têm um tratamento descuidado no que diz respeito às marcas de instabilidade deixadas pelo autor. Em contrapartida, constata-se a busca sistemática de reproduzir o modelo de tragédia preconizado por Aristóteles, na Poética. Assim, vê-se nas tragédias gregas um inalterável e monocórdico tom grave e elevado (spoudaîos) que, no caso de Electra, não se confirma |
