| English abstract | In the field of robotics, the evolution of the concepts of embodiment and animation processes lead to define the concept of a kernel consisting of a set of stable algorithms, independent of the specific embodiment on which these algorithms could be applied. Thus, it becomes possible to study experimentally how particular embodiments, considered as experimental variables, shape the robot"s behavior and its longer-term developmental patterns. This methodological stance results into a new approach to children development stressing the importance of a continuously changing body. |
| Spanish abstract | La evolución de los conceptos de cuerpo y de procesos de animación en el campo de la robótica lleva hoy a definir el concepto de un núcleo, conjunto de algoritmos estables, independiente de los espacios corporales en los que se aplican. Se vuelve posible, entonces, estudiar la manera por la cual algunas inscripciones corporales consideradas como variables, estructuran el comportamiento y a más largo plazo, el desarrollo de un robot. Este trabajo metodológico puede conducir a un enfoque original del desarrollo del niño al subrayar la importancia de un cuerpo variable con fronteras en continua redefinición. |
