| Spanish abstract | Ninguna teoría por sí sola brinda elementos suficientes para comprender la problemática del fenómeno de la violencia y de sus diversas formas de manifestación. Dentro de la organización social, la violencia está ligada a los lugares que ocupan los sujetos frente a otros y que remiten a las formas de poder y control. Asimismo, desde la singularidad-social, el psicoanálisis propone –en una de sus tesis– pensar en la violencia como condición insoportable del goce del Otro. Por ello, es importante revisar diferentes referentes, desde Freud, Lacan y Dufour, para trabajar el tema de violencia no sólo en su dimensión destructiva sino también en su dimensión constituyente de lo social. | English abstract | No theory alone provides sufficient information to understand the problems of the phenomenon of violence and its various manifestations. Within the social organization, violence is linked to places subjects occupy compared to other, which takes us to the forms of power and control. Likewise, since the social-singularity, psychoanalysis refers in one of his thesis, to think of violence as unbearable condition of the enjoyment of the Other.
