| Spanish abstract | El zapatismo se ha definido a sí mismo como una rebelión de la memoria contra el olvido. En este artículo se analizan las concepciones de la historia manifiestas en el discurso zapatista y sus transformaciones a partir de 1994. Sobre todo, se intenta relacionar la reivindicación de la memoria y la movilización política del pasado con la cuestión más general de una posible transición entre distintos regímenes de historicidad. Es notable, en los textos zapatistas, la identificación del régimen que caracteriza al neoliberalismo posmoderno y se define como presente perpetuo. Y es más sugestivo aún cómo se esboza un nuevo régimen de historicidad emergente, basado en una alianza inédita entre pasado y futuro |
| English abstract | The Zapatista movement considers itself a revolution of memory against oblivion. This paper analyzes his conceptions of history, and their transformations since 1994. Above all, it tries to link the claims of memory and the political mobilization of the past to the more general question of a transition between different regimes of historicity. It is notable how Zapatistas texts identifies the perpetual present as a characteristic of neoliberalism and postmodernism. More importantly, they outline other emergent regime of historicity, based on an unprecedented alliance between the past and the future |
