| Spanish abstract | La migración en Honduras es un proceso configurado en distintos matices, y en los últimos años observa los impactos negativos en los aspectos más sensibles del ser humano en tanto se violenta lo más sagrado de la dignidad de las personas. La población fue sometida por factores económicos, políticos, sociales y culturales a corrientes migratorias, dejando atrás largos años de esfuerzo por construir un patrimonio, pero las condiciones de pobreza crónica del país lo impiden y en la perspectiva de ejercer un derecho humano, se aventuran a ser parte del fenómeno migratorio donde dependen de la suerte que les depare el camino que eligen. Hace dos décadas, si se toma el Mitch como detonante del fenómeno migratorio (1998-2019), gran parte de la población vive en situación de inestabilidad dado que salir del seno del hogar ha significado desestructurar la familia como organización más preciada para construir una sociedad saludable. Hoy día la familia aparece desfigurada, ambivalente, en el fenómeno migratorio se le coloca como expulsora de miembros por los niveles de desintegración y violencia en su interior; por otro lado, es motivo de migración los parientes que están en el país de destino donde se pretende migrar con fines de reunificación familiar |
| English abstract | Migration in Honduras is a process configured in different nuances, and in recent years it has observed the negative impacts on the most sensitive aspects of the human being while the most sacred is violated of the dignity of people. The population was subjected by economic, political, social and cultural factors to migra-tory currents, leaving behind long years of effort to build a heritage, but the conditions of poverty chronicle of the country prevent it and in the perspective of exercising a human right, they venture to be part of the migratory phenomenon where they depend on the fate of the path they choose. Two decades ago, if Mitch is taken as the trigger for the migratory phenomenon (1998-2019), a large part of the population lives in a situation of instability since leaving the home has meant destroying the family as the most precious organization to build a healthy society. Today the family appears disfigured, ambivalent, in the migratory pheno-menon it is placed as an expulsion of members due to the levels of disintegration and violence within; on the other hand, it is reason for migration relatives who are in the country of destination where it is intended to migrate for family reunification purposes |
