| Spanish abstract | En el artículo se abordan las características generales del ritual siguiendo los trabajos antropológicos de Victor Turner e Ingrid Geist. Se plantea algunas reformulaciones desde la semiótica, sobre todo, focalizando el interés en el tema del tiempo. Los autores proponen considerar tres tiempos que interactúan: el de la existencia, el de la experiencia y un tiempo singular que conjuga los dos antes mencionados: un tempo constituido por la repetición, la lentitud y la celeridad. Éste sería el tiempo propio del ritual. Para sostener esta propuesta se analiza un ritual de la Semana Santa católica y el de penitencia de los disciplinantes de San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja, España), el cual es un ritual representativo de la problemática abordada |
| English abstract | In the article, the general traits of the ritual are dealt with following the anthropological works of Victor Turner and Ingrid Geist. Some reformulations from the viewpoint of semiotics are posed, above all, focusing interest on the theme of tense. The authors propose considering three tenses that interact: that of existence, that of experience and a singular tense that conjugates the two previously mentioned: a tempo constituted by repetition, slowness and speed. This would be the tense of the ritual. To sustain this proposal, a ritual of Catholic Holy Week and that of penitence of the flagellants of San Vicente de la Sonsierra (township of La Rioja, Spain), which is a ritual representative of the questions dealt with, are analyzed |
| Other abstract | L'article aborde les caractéristiques générales du rituel en s'appuyant sur les travaux anthropologiques de Victor Turner et Ingrid Geist. Certaines reformulations sont proposées à partir de la sémiotique, surtout en se centrant sur le thème du temps. Les auteurs proposent de considérer trois temps qui interagissent : celui de l'existence, celui de l'expérience et un temps singulier conjuguant les deux précédents : un tempo constitué par la répétition, la lenteur et la célérité. Il s'agirait du temps propre au rituel. Pour soutenir cette hypothèse, nous analyserons un rituel de la Semaine Sainte catholique et autre celui des pénitents de Saint Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja, Espagne) qui est un rituel représentatif de la problématique abordée |
