| Spanish abstract | En el presente texto se hace un análisis de cómo se perciben los problemas ambientales en la cuenca del río Valles; para ello se aplicaron encuestas a habitantes de cinco localidades rurales, las cuales se seleccionaron a partir de la característica de uso de leña como primordial fuente de combustible, así como entrevistas a actores clave, mayoritariamente del área urbana. Se concluye que existe una diferencia sustancial en la percepción de los problemas ambientales, influida por el nivel socioeconómico y educativo de los encuestados y entrevistados |
| English abstract | This document elaborates on how environmental problems in the Valles-river basin are perceived. opinion polls were applied to residents of 5 rural locations, which were selected by the criterion of use of firewood as the main combustion material, and interviews were carried out with key actors primarily from urban areas. It is concluded that there is a substantial difference in the perception of environmental problems, influenced by the socioeconomic and educative level of those surveyed and interviewed |
