| English abstract | Objective: Knowing the reasons that lead to the beginning of drinking problems seeking conditions. Methods: A survey with 15 women from the Mental Health Clinic, using: a structured form and a semi-structured guide. The data was analyzed by the descriptive statistics and the analysis of the interviews based on the technique of context analyses. Results: Women between 40 and 49 years old; low education, singles, non-structured family and low income, didn’t exercise and were smokers (pictures 1-5). The m ost using of alcohol in adolescence or in adult life. They were sent or spontaneously searched for the service, it was either for their wish to quit drinking to reduce the abusive use for associated problems. Conclusion: The harm of alcohol usage between women will keep requiring bigger reflections against the variety factors that involve the phenomenon of alcoholism |
| Portuguese abstract | Objetivo: Conhecer o perfil, as circunstâncias do início do uso do álcool pela mulher alcoolista e as condições reguladoras da busca pelo tratamento. Métodos: Pesquisa com 15 mulheres de um Ambulatório de Saúde Mental, utilizando formulário es truturado e entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados foram analisados pela estatística descritiva e a análise das entrevistas baseada na técnica de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Idades entre 40 a 49 anos; baixa escolaridade, solteiras, família variante e de baixa renda, não pratica ntes de atividade física e a maioria tabagistas ( figuras de 1 a 5 ). Muitas iniciaram no uso de álcool na ad olescência; outras, na vida adulta. Foram encaminhadas ao serviço ou procuraram espontaneamente por ele, com desejo de parar e/ou reduzir o uso e também por problemas associados. Conclusão: O uso nocivo de álcool demandará maiores reflexões diante dos múltiplos fatores que envolvem o fenômeno alcoolismo |
