| English abstract | Although the approximations between the fields of psychoanalysis and art are common, music has not received the same attention by the main theorists of psychoanalysis. Thus, this article objective is to approach these two areas, identifying possible interlocutions between psychoanalysis and music. We explore references to voice and musicality as found in psychoanalytical theory, especially the lacanian concept of voice as an object a, and the role of the invocation drive in the constitution of the subject. Then, we extend the discussion adding some relationships between music and utopia as elaborated in the work of the philosopher Ernst Bloch |
| Portuguese abstract | Ainda que as aproximações entre o campo psicanalítico e o artístico sejam frequentes, a música tem sido, entre as artes, aquela que menor atenção tem recebido dos principais teóricos da psicanálise. O presente artigo busca, assim, aproximar estas duas áreas, situando-se no rastro de possíveis interlocuções entre o arcabouço teórico psicanalítico e a temática musical. Para tanto, exploramos, primeiramente, as referências à voz e à musicalidade encontradas nas teorizações psicanalíticas, dando especial ênfase à concepção lacaniana de voz como objeto a e à pulsão invocante na constituição do sujeito.
