| Spanish abstract | El gobierno de Felipe Carrillo Puerto en Yucatán (1921-1923) se propuso transformar la sociedad a largo plazo, para lo cual desarrolló una reforma escolar que contribuyera a cimentar en la mentalidad yucateca los valores socialistas desde la primera edad, pero al haber ciertos elementos que causaron polémicas, organizó una campaña de propaganda, la cual es estudiada en el presente Artículo de investigación a través de sus dos principales órganos de prensa: el periódico El Popular (1921-1923) y la revista Tierra. El Magazine del Sureste (1923); éstas tuvieron el fin de ganar la opinión pública y aumentar la popularidad del régimen |
| English abstract | The government of Felipe Carrillo Puerto at Yucatan (1921-1923), undertook the goal of transform society in the long run, for that reason, it stablished an educational policy orientated to construct in young minds the socialist values, but having certain elements that caused controversy, it organized a propaganda, which is the object of study of the present Research Article through two of its main press organs: the daily El Popular (1921-1923) and the weekly Tierra.
