English abstract | In this paper, a tool called MATE-CFAR (MAtlab Test Environment for CFAR detectors) is presented for testing CFAR detectors and modeling clutter and radar targets. Implemented at Simulink in MATLAB, the environment is able to generate Gaussian and Weibull clutter, and Swerling V targets. In addition, the target's occurrence frequency can be controlled and the detection and false alarm probabilities can be computed. By means of MATE-CFAR, the authors estimate plots for the false alarm and detection probabilities using auxiliary functions provided together with the environment, therefore demonstrating the application of MATE-CFAR |
