| Spanish abstract | El artículo propone un modelo de aprendizaje móvil basado en herramientas de software libre denominado OpenEducaML (Open Educational Mobile Learning). El principal objetivo perseguido refiere la presentación de los componentes tecnológicos necesarios para el desarrollo e implementación del mismo, diseñado para mejorar la cobertura, pertinencia y equidad de la educación superior. Este modelo se fundamenta en herramientas de software que se implementa a través de plataforma móvil que hace uso de mobile moodle y de herramientas web 3.0. Se socializa la experiencia de su implementación y validación en la Universidad Veracruzana, cuyos resultados manifiestan el potencial del aprendizaje móvil como un modo eficaz de aprendizaje; asimismo, se obtuvo una positiva percepción de los estudiantes hacia el modelo, hallando evidencias sobre diferencias significativas en el nivel de aprendizaje individual y grupal de los participantes; respecto a lo alcanzado por estudiantes que realizaron estudios en la forma tradicional |
| English abstract | The article proposes a model of mobile learning based on free software called OpenEducaML (Open Educational Mobile Learning) tools. The main objective concerns the presentation of the technological components needed for the development and implementation of it, designed to improve coverage, relevance and equity of higher education. This model is based on software that is implemented through mobile platform that makes use of mobile moodle and web tools 3.0. You socialize the experience of its implementation and validation at the Universidad Veracruzana (Autonomous University of Veracruz), the results demonstrate the potential of mobile learning as an effective way of learning; also obtained a positive perception of students toward the model, finding evidence of significant differences in the level of individual and group learning of the participants; with regard to achievements by students that studies carried out in the traditional way |
