| Spanish abstract | La toma de decisiones y la realización de las acciones consecuentes son tareas de todos los seres humanos. En esta investigación se entiende por decidir llevar a cabo un proceso reflexivo en la búsqueda del bien para otras personas o uno mismo. Los profesores toman un sinnúmero de decisiones sobre el bien de los alumnos, reflexionan sobre la finalidad de la interacción con ellos, la metodología a emplear, las formas de evaluación y retroalimentación, la convivencia en el aula, entre otras. El propósito de la investigación es indagar qué significa decidir para un grupo de profesores universitarios, qué proceso interno siguen para tomar decisiones educativas y qué decisiones educativas toman. Se fundamenta en la perspectiva cognitiva-moral de Lonergan y se utiliza la metodología sociolingüística de Cazden |
| English abstract | The making of decisions and realization of the following actions are tasks of every human being. In this research "decide" means to make a reflective process in the search for the good of people or one self. Teachers make a great amount of decisions about what´s best for the students, they reflect about the purpose of their interaction with them, the methodology taken, the evaluation ways and the back-feed, the interaction in the classroom, among others. The purpose of the research is to uncover what 'deciding' means for a group of university teachers, what internal process do they follow to make educational decisions and what educational decisions do they take. It´s based on the Lonergan´s cognitive-moral perspective and Cazden´s social-linguistic methodology is used |
