| Spanish abstract | A partir de la lectura de El mar y las campanas, poemario póstumo de Pablo Neruda, realizo un breve y conciso recorrido analítico sobre dos símbolos fundamentales de la poesía del autor chileno: el mar y las campanas. Gracias a la observación de dichos motivos, que en este trabajo aparecen vinculados con elementos autobiográfico ficcionales y referencias al amormujer —también característicos de este autor—, es posible distinguir imágenes que el poeta construye de sí mismo, así como también referencias que éste realiza, sobre todo en el contexto de sus últimos días, al eterno retorno y a la transformación de su canto poético a lo largo del tiempo |
| English abstract | From the reading of The Sea and the Bells, a posthumous collection of poems by Pablo Neruda, Luz Elena Zamudio develops a brief and concise analytical course on two fundamental symbols of the Chilean’s author poetry: the sea and the bells. Through the observation of these motives, which in this article the author links with autobiographical-fictional elements and references to the lovewomen —also essential elements of the work of this author—, it is possible to distinguish images that the poet has performed of himself, and also references that he has made, especially in the context of his last days, to the eternal return and to the transformation of his poetic song over time |
