| Spanish abstract | A partir de una propuesta semiótica, Barthes escribe en “La muerte del autor”que el escritor no precede ni excede su escritura; sin embargo considerada como una poética flexible pensamos que la propuesta debería reconsiderarse en relación con sus límites, a sus escritos posteriores, como Roland Barthes por Roland Barthes y, más importante aún, debido a la tendencia autorreferencial que privilegian las narrativas contemporáneas. | English abstract | By the semiotics point of view, Barthes writes in “The Death of the Author”, that the autor is not furnished with a being which precedes or exceeds his writing. But even his “poetics” in the elastic acceptation given that proposition, is still important considering the limits that define it, and the late writings such as Roland Barthes by Roland Barthes; and most important, the autorreferenciality given by contemporary narratives.
