| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se analiza, comparativamente, el desempeño constitucional de los gobiernos del Perú independizado, que fueron cinco en total, y del único gobierno virreinal establecido en el Cusco durante el llamado Trienio Liberal español. Se argumenta que, al margen del enfrentamiento bélico entre el Perú republicano y el Perú gaditano, ambas realidades pusieron en práctica importantes medidas constitucionales. | English abstract | This article, comparatively, analyzes the constitutional performance of the governments of independent Peru, which were five in total, and of the viceregal government established in Cusco during the so-called Spanish Liberal Triennium. It will be argued that, apart from the warlike confrontation between republican Peru and “gaditan” Peru, both realities implemented main constitutional measures. The degree of application of the constitutional legality in both realities was conditioned by the war situation |
