| Spanish abstract | En este trabajo se describen algunos aspectos de la vida diaria de los estadounidenses que formaban parte de los sectores populares de la Ciudad de México, al finalizar el régimen de Díaz y en los primeros años de la lucha armada. Las diversiones cotidianas de estos estadounidenses, los delitos en los que incurrían y sus desencuentros con los mexicanos e inmigrantes de otros orígenes, son revisados en este texto, el cual tiene el propósito de contribuir al estudio de la diversidad de inmigrantes estadounidenses en México, en particular de los no adinerados, de los que no formaban parte de la burguesía de ese tiempo, y apuntar algunas formas de interacción social entre inmigrantes y mexicanos, aspecto hasta ahora, poco tratado por la historiografía de la inmigración en México. | English abstract | This article talks about some aspects of the daily life of poor Americans in Mexico City at the end of Díaz regime and in the first years of the Revolution. It looks through the common entertainment of these Americans, the crimes which incurred and their misunderstandings with Mexicans and Americans immigrants of other origins. Likewise, this article has the purpose of contribute to the study of the variety of Americans immigrants in Mexico, specially the not well-off Americans, the ones who didn´t belong to the bourgeoisie. It also wants to point out some ways of social interaction between immigrants and Mexicans, something that has been poorly treated by the immigration historiography until now.
