| Spanish abstract | El Género Testimonio, como manifestación cultur al latinoamericana, ha estado vigente desde su aparición en 1970. Los estudios e interpretaciones en torno a él son parte del conocimiento de América Latina que aporta resultados desde los ámbitos histórico y literario a los que se suscriben las obras testimoniales. El interés que se ha puesto tanto en la definición del género como en sus lecturas parte desde el interior de la propia revista literaria cubana Casa de las Américas, así como de diversas corrientes teóricas, que en el presente ayudan a la comprensión del pasado y de las sociedades en que surgieron las narraciones. Más que un registro de voces, con las interpretaciones pertinentes es posible ver aspectos culturales, políticos y sociales de los procesos históricos la tinoamericanos. Por ello, el tema del testimonio sigue abierto para indagar en él y encontrar nuevas manifestaciones que no han salido a la luz |
| English abstract | The Testimonial Genre, as Latin American cultural expression, has been in use since its appearance in 1970. Its studies and inter pretations are part of the knowledge of Latin America that works well within the historical and literary scopes of the testimonial works. The interest in definition of genre and its lectures starts from the inside of the literary magazine Casa de las Américas. Likewise, many theoretical currents help to understand the past and the societies where stories appeared. Beyond a record of voices, the appropriate inter pretations allow to see cultural, political and social aspects of Latin American processes. For that reason, the subject of testimony is open to inquire into it and to find new and unknown expressions |
