English abstract | Frida Kahlo’s iconography presents speci!c themes and vocabulary: ordered sequences representing reality, her particular experience and the spontaneous verbal condensation found in conversation. Her work tends to the glyph and can be read as a text, while the composition aspires to become a symbol and keep a dialogue between other works of art and the Viewer. It's all about a disposition: need, aptitude and formal organization appendant the will and the capacity to integrate the inner fracture, the ironic element that corrodes her work. Ruina is a self-commemorative cenotaph |
