| Spanish abstract | La confluencia entre poesía y narrativa es común en la literatura mexicana. En muchos casos, las imágenes poéticas no sólo enriquecen el estilo de las narraciones, pues también influyen en la construcción del mundo ficcional: el tiempo y el espacio pierden su linealidad y coherencia al cobrar la plasticidad y fugacidad de la palabra poética. En Cartucho las imágenes poéticas proyectan el recuerdo de la lucha villista en el norte de la República. La memoria privada y colectiva se activan con la rememoración de la guerra y sus muertos, de tal forma que los breves relatos que componen el texto se encadenan mediante la imaginación emotiva, mas no descriptiva, de la narradora en su infancia y madurez |
| English abstract | Thee con"uence between poetry and narrative is common in Mexican literature. In many cases, the poetic imagery not only enriches the style of narrative, it also in"uences the construction of the !ctional world: time and space lose their linearity and consistency because they get the plasticity and transience of the poetic word. In Cartucho the poetic imagery projects the souvenir of the !ght of Villa in the north of the Mexico. Private and collective memory are activated by the remembrance of the war and people who was killed during that armed con"ict, so the short stories of this novel are linked by the emotional imagination, but not the descriptive imagination, to narrator in her childhood and adulthood |
