| Spanish abstract | El presente texto propone un análisis del libro Días de guardar, escrito por Carlos Monsiváis, con los supuestos que el teórico Mijaíl Bajtín expone en Teoría y estética de la novela, concretamente en “El plurilingüismo en la novela”. Días de guardar es una compilación de crónicas que muestran una polifonía de voces. Este dialogizar entre quien escribe y quien se representa en el texto, hace que la prosa de Monsiváis sea susceptible de nombrarse “prosa tridimensional”, término propuesto por Bajtín |
| English abstract | The present text proposes an analysis of the book Días de guardar, written by Carlos Monsiváis, with the assumptions that theorist Mijaíl Bajtín exhibits in Theory and esthetics of the novel, specifically in “The plurilinguistic in the novel”. Días de guardar is a compilation of chronicles that show a polyphony voices. This dialog between the one who writes and the one who is represented in the text, does that the prose Monsiváis is capable of there being named “three-dimensional prose”, term proposed by Bajtín |
