| English abstract | Analyze the nurses’ educational practice in mental health policy reform front psychiatric and psychosocial rehabilitation with a view to emancipating education was the goal of this study, conducted by the narrative review of scientific literature. Analysis of results and subsequent discussion converged to the themes: health reform; psychiatric reform: bringing back the past, analyzing the present and thinking about the future, reform of health education; horizons for nursing in Education for Mental Health. We point out the need for nursing practice in mental health that will not exit this area, but that meshes with the entire network of SUS services |
| Portuguese abstract | Analisar a prática educativa do enfermeiro na saúde mental frente à política da reforma psiquiátrica e reabilitação psicossocial com vistas à educação emancipatória foi o objetivo desse estudo, conduzido por meio da revisão narrativa da literatura científica. A análise dos resultados encontrados e subsequente discussão convergiram para os temas: a reforma sanitária; a reforma psiquiátrica: retomando o passado, relatando o presente e pensando no futuro; a reforma da Educação para a Saúde; horizontes para a enfermagem na Educação para a Saúde mental. Apontamos a necessidade de uma prática de enfermagem em saúde mental que não finalize nessa área, mas que se articule com toda a rede de serviços do SUS |
