| English abstract | In Colombia there are few batteries, which evaluate the difficulties of oral language, reading and writing of school children, adapted to the child population. The aim of this study was to validate the homogenization of the Oral Language Protocol, reading and writing from the perspective of Neuropsycholinguistic for children between 6 and 10 years old; the instrument contains items based on the functions the Modular Map of Ellis, Young and Anderson: hearing modules, visual modules, and orthographic modules, also includes, aspects to evaluate the pragmatic level. The sample was non-random, according to the calculation of the sample size, a total of 100 "normotypical" children, who were evaluated with the PRELEN protocol; with prior parental consent. The analysis was carried out with Cronbach's alpha test, to measure the correlation of items. In the results, the alpha of the oral language modules was 0.841, that of reading and writing 0.840 and the pragmatic level 0.978. The coefficient of the overall protocol was 0.933 (93%), which would indicate an adequate internal consistency of the modules and tasks of the protocol. While some modules have a high correlation, it is important to review those above 0.90. |
| Spanish abstract | En Colombia hay escasas baterías que evalúen las dificultades del lenguaje oral, la lectura y la escritura de los niños escolares, adaptadas a la población infantil. El objetivo de este estudio fue establecer la consistencia interna del protocolo de lenguaje oral, lectura y escritura (PRELEN), desde la perspectiva neuropsicolingüística, para escolares de 6 a 10 años; el instrumento contiene tareas con base en las funciones del Mapa Modular de Ellis, Young y Anderson: módulos auditivos, módulos visuales y módulos ortográficos; también, incluye aspectos a evaluar del nivel pragmático. La muestra fue no aleatoria; según el cálculo del tamaño de muestra, se seleccionaron 100 niños "normo típicos", que fueron evaluados con el protocolo PRELEN, con previo consentimiento de los padres. El análisis se llevó a cabo con la prueba alpha de Cronbach, para medir la correlación de ítems. En los resultados, el alfa de los módulos de lenguaje oral fue 0.841, el de lectura y escritura 0.840, y el nivel pragmático 0.978. El coeficiente del protocolo general fue de 0.933 (93 %), que indicaría una adecuada consistencia interna de los módulos y tareas del protocolo. Si bien algunos módulos presentan una alta correlación, resulta importante revisar los que están por encima de 0.90. |
