| English abstract | The phobia is a subject that concerns the psychoanalytic theory, the clinic and the direction of the treatment. We consider the phobic object a signifier which is chosen to identify a danger and build a defense against anxiety. It is the subject’s resource in order for the world to be livable. The phobia is a condition of the subject’s emergency in his encounter with language and with maternal castration.
