| Spanish abstract | El trabajo da a conocer una bibliografía sobre historia militar y naval de México en el siglo XIX, que fue publicada en este país entre 1988 y 2013. Contiene un estudio introductorio donde observamos las condiciones del periodo en que se desenvuelve el quehacer histórico; la infraestructura y las instituciones notables en su desarrollo; las tendencias, los espacios, periodos, temas, autores, géneros y tipos relevantes en esa producción. Asimismo, la distinción a un médico militar, quien ha organizado congresos a nivel internacional en torno a dicha historia y ha promovido la publicación de investigaciones presentadas en ellos. | English abstract | The work reveals a bibliography about naval and military history of Mexico in the 19th century, which was published in this country between 1988 and 2013. It contains an introductory study where we observe the conditions of the period in which evolves the historical work; infrastructure and the notable institutions in their development; trends, spaces, periods, themes, authors, genres and relevant types in that production. Likewise, the distinction to a military doctor, who has organized conferences worldwide around this story and has promoted the publication of research presented in them.
